                      Takes a Vacation

The Dog King was very tired after his race. He decided to take a brake and go on vacation. After all, his owner was gone too. He was bored!

TDK (The Dog King) went over to the side of the road. He had decided to go to The Great Wolf Lodge. It sounded fun, although there was a lot of water involved (The Dog King did not like water) he knew there was an arcade and he could have some other fun.

TDK waited for a truck going the correct direction and then hopped in the back and flew off. He realized that the truck was about to turn the opposite direction. He watched the moving ground and…. JUMPED! The Dog King ran over to the side of the road safely and started walking… Then running… Until he finally just had to wait for another car. It took an hour, but he found one. He hopped on and off he went. But he didn’t hop in the back… He hopped on top! After only five minutes the care started to get ready to go the opposite direction. He jumped off once again!

  After a while TDK got tired of walking. Then he saw a plane. It was just getting ready to go! At that moment, The Dog King scrambled on (not the most gracefully) and the plane took off and flew!!! The Dog King watched the ground disappear and gulped. The plane started to bump. He slipped and he slid, until he slipped all the way over to the edge! He yelped! He was going to fall! Then a eagle, which was flying much higher than normal (trying to beat the height record for a bird) caught TDK right as he fell!!! The Dog King scrambled back on the plane and they talked until Sebastian realized the plane was turning to the opposite direction! The eagle gave him a fly down just in time and Sebastian ran off.

After walking for half an hour, TDK saw The Great Wolf Lodge!! He ran inside and went to his room. He unpacked and played in the arcade and had some fun with the kids at the water park, but mostly stayed out of the water… Then it was time to go home, but how was he going to get there?!

One fine day The Dog King was bored and he thought and thought but he didn’t know what to do.

Then there was a little light bulb above is little head and it was NOT a little idea. He was going to be a cowboy! Think of it! Finding a wild stallion braking it and then dashing in races and winning and running across fields to find MORE mares and stallions!

He fell into a dream…

He ran on paws… all FOUR paws… And galloped himself across the fields so fast! Wind screaming in his ears, paws pounding the ground, wind beating his fur like a birds beak, oh what a feeling! He was catch up with the wild stallion! Almost there almost…

“TDK!!!”

 

“Huh what? Oh yes Madeline?”

“Oh my dear finally you have woken up!”

“DON’T CALL ME DEAR!!!”

“Yes darling.”

“Ugh.”

“Anyway what’s wrong? Something sounds pretty wrong… The way you yelled…”

“Oh nothing I just wanted u to pay attention.”

“I’m not you SON!!!”

“Okay sheash!”

“I could send you to the dungeon. I’m king. SO BE QUIT!!!”

She left.

He left.

And TDK went out to find the wild horse.
 

And there he felt himself just as in the dream only real. He watched the black stallion and he got closer and closer…

But this time nobody screamed “TDK!” He got the stallion! He pulled him back to his royal farm.

A month later the horse was ready for its first race. Its name was midnight dart.

He was at the race.

Everyone laughed a dog in the saddle! He had to have a REALLY heavy saddle since he was so light. When he was in the gates his heart was beating fast… They would open at any time… DINGGGGG!

“There off!” Screams the announcer.

“It’s a short race and the dog and Midnight Dart is in the lead! What a wonderful black horse! He is from the wild ya’ll! Watch that dog ride! He claims himself The Dog King AKA TDK and also he can talk! Blah blah blah blah BLAHHHH”

They stayed in the lead as they dashed so fast to the finish line! He ended up 10 LENGHS AHEAD! He was on TV and they were already famous!

And that is how TDK became a cowboy.
